Call hours are 1 Mon-Fri and 24hrs Sat-SunDuration: 13-weeksDepartment Description: General nuclear med studies (bones, renals, gastric emptying, GI bleeds, HIDAs, Thyroid uptake/scan, parathyroids, VQ perfusions), cardiac and EPT/CTDaily Caseload: 15-18Rooms: 4 & PET/CTAges: All ages. Adolescents-GeriatricsJob duties: Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered by radiologists.
