The Senior Technical Specialist provides support in the development and implementation of projects aimed at enhancing community resilience and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate has experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, as well as possessing strong analytical and communication skills.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• 
  
• Provide technical assistance in the planning, design, and implementation of projects.
  
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support project objectives and decision-making processes.
  
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and documentation in compliance with internal and client guidelines.
  
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and other specialists, to ensure project success.
  
• Ensure all project activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
  
• Support the coordination and management of project tasks, schedules, and deliverables.
  
• Assist in engaging with stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and the public, to gather input and provide project updates.
  
• Participate in risk assessment activities to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation and records.
  
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

    Must have experience and be an expert with:
    
    • 
      
    • PCs, MS Office, Adobe, Google Mail, Citrix Sharefile (or other online platforms), and online meeting platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom.
      
      Education:
      
      • 
        
      • BA/BS degree in a related field required (for example, Engineering, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field).
        
      • Relevant certifications are a plus.
        
        Experience:
        
        • 
          
        • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in technical support, project coordination, or a related role.
          
        • Experience with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
          
          Work Environment: This position is open to candidates nationwide and is remote with site work as required by customer.
          Compensation:
          The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $59,000-180,000/year. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. SRE considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, SRE adheres to all state and federal requirements regarding salary to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SRE's total compensation package for employees.
