projects.The Position:We are seeking a Project Analyst to provide
strategy and program management support to enhance and sustain the
mission of a bureau at the Department of State. Some examples of
responsibilities include:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of client issues, needs, and
contexts.
- Support internal communications strategies and tactics to
continue staff awareness and understanding of key bureau
initiatives, priorities, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate and provide logistical support for briefings,
workshops, working groups, integrated project teams, committees,
conferences, boards, and additional operation activities.
- Support efforts and activities on diversity, culture and
cross-bureau collaboration, to include organizational improvements
(e.g. Training strategy, technology strategy, onboarding strategy,
and other key outputs).
- Facilitate gathering of staff feedback to develop and implement
recommendations related to improvement of Bureau processes.
- Support the ongoing development, performance reporting, and
apprising of strategic planning documents.
- Share insights, results, and recommendations in a
comprehensible manner through both written presentations/reports
and interactions with teams/clients.
- Work with client stakeholders and working groups to develop
process maps, project plans, and identify opportunities for
efficiencies and improvement.
- Develop program collateral in the Microsoft Suite, including
PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.The Ideal Candidate:At Censeo, we are

Affairs Analyst will have:
- BA / BS Degree.
- Active Secret Clearance or Eligible to obtain a Secret
Clearance (Required).
- 1+ years of experience providing programmatic support to
Federal government agencies.
- Program management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, etc.) is a
plus.
- Experience creating, analyzing, and presenting surveys and data
analysis.
- Strong oral and written communications skills, including
writing, slide deck development and verbal presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills and ability to adapt to changing
priorities.
- Ability to build a strong degree of trust with the client.About
the Client:The Bureau of Global Public Affairs (GPA) serves the
American people by effectively communicating U.S. foreign policy
priorities and the importance of diplomacy to American audiences,
and engaging foreign publics to enhance their understanding of and
support for the values and policies of the United States. Within
GPA, the Office of the Executive Director (GPA/EX) is responsible
for planning, coordinating, and executing policy for the bureau in
the areas of financial, physical, administrative, and human
resource management, as well as strategy and information
technology. The specific focus of work will be in the following
task areas:
- Communications and Culture.
- Strategy Implementation and Program Evaluation.
- Special Projects and Other Support Tasks.
- Task Order Management.Support for these four areas will help
GPA/EX achieve the following objectives:
- Promote a culture of learning, transparency, and open
communication.
- Reduce the time it takes employees and external users to find
key information.
- Drive continuous organization improvement based on employee and
leadership feedback.
- Adopt a standard approach to aligning work units with the GPA
strategy, vision and goals.
- Provide Department employees a sense of pride that we're a
leader in communication and public diplomacy best practices.
- Achieve organizational optimization in response to internal and
external priorities and directives.
- Define success criteria and assist with goal setting.The
Location:Censeo Consulting Group is based in Washington D.C., a
fantastic city for working professionals. We work in a hybrid
setting with flexibility to work from home and work in our office
conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just a few blocks
away from the White House. And with many of our clients also based
in D.C., we have the luxury of leaving for a meeting and being back
in the office in time for post-work happy hours, team dinners, and
game nights.The Fine Print:
- The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $90,000.
- Expected travel 0-10%; may increase based on business
needs.
- This is an exempt, full-time position.

- Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less
