About the Role

We're seeking a visionary and hands-on ServiceNow Architect to spearhead the launch and growth of our ServiceNow practice. As a strategic hire, you will play a critical role in shaping our technical roadmap, building internal capabilities, leading solution architecture, and mentoring developers. This role is ideal for a certified ServiceNow Architect who thrives in startup-like environments and wants to be a foundational leader in a rapidly growing technology practice.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership:

Lead the development of the ServiceNow practice from the ground up, including visioning, capability building, team mentoring, and delivering scalable solutions.

Architecture & Development:

Architect and develop end-to-end solutions on the Now Platform, from initial concept to production-ready delivery. Be hands-on in creating reusable components, workflows, and enterprise-grade applications.

Strategic Innovation:

Drive innovation through Proof of Concepts (POCs), pilot projects, and capability demonstrations. Translate ideas into working prototypes aligned with our business goals.

Integration Expertise:

Design and implement secure, scalable integrations with industry-standard IDP providers and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and OAuth protocols.

Data Stewardship:

Lead efforts in managing data as an enterprise asset, ensuring data quality, governance, and effective use across ServiceNow solutions.

Client Engagement:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions, and build trusted partnerships through effective communication and delivery excellence.

Mentorship:

Guide and mentor junior developers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Required Qualifications

ServiceNow Certified Architect on the Now Platform (mandatory)
8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with 3+ years in an architecture or lead role
Proven experience designing large-scale, enterprise-grade applications and workflows in ServiceNow
Strong understanding of application architecture, including cloud-native patterns and system design
Deep expertise in API development and integration best practices
Experience with industry-standard identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, etc.)
Track record of working on POCs and new product development initiatives
Exceptional communication, documentation, and client relationship management skills
Ability to think strategically while being hands-on

Nice to Have

Domain knowledge in Grants Management or experience working in public sector/government systems, particularly in Grants Management
Prior experience building or scaling a ServiceNow practice/team
Familiarity with ITOM, CSM, or HRSD modules
Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices
