L2 Construction Services LLC is looking for a heavy equipment mechanic to add to our team! We are a locally owned and operated sitework and excavation company that has been servicing the Central VA area since 2011. We specialize in new construction commercial locations including work completed for Chesterfield County Public Schools, numerous residential communities, and commercial warehouse locations.We are looking for an experienced mechanic with knowledge of maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a multitude of equipment that includes but is not limited to John Deere, Caterpillar, Volvo, and Hamm. We have equipment ranging from haul trucks, excavators, dozers, rollers, graders, loaders, and compactors, along with fleet trucks. Your work location would include traveling to job sites (within a 50mi radius of Richmond and never overnight travel) for diagnostic or emergency repairs (company vehicle provided for this) or working out of our shop (located at 8102 Shell Rd). Compensation:-Hourly rate based on experience and performance-Paid Holiday Time (Labor Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Black Friday, Christmas Eve thru New Years)-Health Insurance (L2 Construction contributes 50% of employee only coverage towards health)-Dental and Vision Insurance-Supplemental Insurance plans available through Aflac and Sun Life-401k
